about
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, but I’m currently based in Lisboa. I grew up passionate about learning, fixing/building things and it was very natural for me to become a developer because of that.
To this date, I have professional experience in C#, Python, Java, Node and Go, but my curiosity also attracted me towards Shell scripting (and also Powershell), Lua, Clojure and Godot. Usually, I dedicate myself to REST APIs/microservices, automations, DevOps pipelines and scripts or to mess with electronics. I’m also an advocate for FOSS software and operational systems (like Linux).
Currently, I have a pet server at home - which I call Alexandria, as a reference to the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (hopefully one day I’ll have a cluster with the other 6) - and I use it as a homelab and also to host self-hostable services. It’s currently running in an Orange Pi, but I’m feeling like upgrading it soon. Being its system admin (pet dad?) has brought me a lot of knowledge.
